Spotted Lanternfly Control
Protect Your Property from Spotted Lanternfly Infestations
The spotted lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive species that spreads quickly and can be very difficult to control. The SLF has become a major pest in New Jersey only in recent years, as it was first found in Pennsylvania in 2014 and has since spread throughout the northeast. These insects are capable of wreaking immense havoc on our ecosystem and agriculture, feeding on over 70 types of plants, including trees, shrubs, and vines. In addition, the SLF can be a nuisance when they swarm in large numbers and congregate on buildings, trees, and other structures. If you see one, make sure that you kill it immediately.
Spotted lanternflies have a complex life cycle: they go from overwintering egg, through four nymphal instar stages, to their most recognizable adult form with spotted wings. During the adult stage, the insect will feed on the sap of trees and lay eggs on the trunk and branches.

Recurring Treatment Plans
One-Time Treatments for Active Infestations
The best way to protect your property against the spotted lanternfly is to be proactive and vigilant. You can identify a potential infestation in its early stages, as eggs will hatch and nymphs will begin to emerge in late April. Our technicians will thoroughly survey your property to discover areas of SLF activity, where they are harboring, and destroy them at the source. We offer one-time and recurring applications to keep the spotted lanternfly population under control.
